Why did you choose Travis and what were you most surprised about?
Both my niece and my sister used Travis to sell their acreages and highly recommended him. I've sold houses in the city, but never an acreage. I wanted someone that lived in the county and was familiar with selling country residences. I did interview one other agent and felt like she really didn't come prepared. Travis provided me with his info folder which gave me more information. When Travis came in he made me feel like he had it all under control and was invested in learning about my property. I immediately felt comfortable with him. I just felt "safe" and in good hands.
What were you most nervous or concerned about?
I was definately nervous about my home being 30 years old with an aging septic system, but Travis calmed my nerves and said we are selling it as 30 years old, so they won't expect it to be new. He had a way of making my worries go away. He was right, they weren't concerned!
Were you happy with the way your home was marketed?
I was very impressed with the pictures of the house and the property and Travis' write up was very appealing. I loved the video and his part in it. I told Sara that after viewing the video if it wasn't my property, I would buy it!
How did Travis guide you through the selling process?
An offer came in the second day, it was so quick. Travis is so knowledgeable about how much to counter and guided me through the process seamlessly. He shows such great confidence that it makes you feel confident.
What advice would you have for future clients?
If you don't feel completely comfortable with your agent keep interviewing until you find the right one. I am so happy that I didn't settle.
What did you find most stressful about the process?
It was very stressful waiting for the buyers to finalize their financing. It was over two weeks and I was so nervous they were going to back out, especially after the inspection report. Travis was very supportive and helped to calm my nerves.
What was the best part of your selling experience?
I was really not looking forward to having people going through my home, but it sold so fast - the second day - that I only had 4 clients view it. That made it so much easier. Travis handled everything so I didn't have to do anything but sign.
Would you hire Travis again?
Of course I would and I will happily recommend him to others. He made everything so easy.
